Phoebe and Cole's Hotel Room at The Arms

As promised, after the visit to Angelus, Phoebe had gone to The Arms to get her and Cole a room. As much as she really did adore Xander and Bridge, she didn't want to impose on Xander as his apartment was getting pretty crowded.

Cole didn't want her going out unless she was with him or Anders because he still felt that Angelus was a danger -- even if he was behind bars right now.

So, this was Phoebe, pacing her hotel room.

After work, Lana gave Chris a call (http://neurotic-witch.livejournal.com/590.html?thread=617038#t617038) and then made her way to Phoebe's room at the Arms and knocked on the door.

Phoebe looked towards the door, tensing slightly. "Who is it?"

Scared? Of course not. Why would she be?

Phoebe opened the door quickly.

Like Prue wasn't going to visit her sister when she was in town. She made her way to Phoebe's room and knocked on the door.

Phoebe was pacing again. "Who is it?"

"Pizza guy." she joked. "Hope you like anchovies."

She jerked open the door. "Prue!"

"Hey, Prue," Bel said. "How's it hanging?"

"I've been better." she said. "What with the psychopath on the island and all."

"You didn't run into him at all, did you?" Bel asked.

Awake, worried, and still quite frankly a little annoyed upon finding out Phoebe had disappeared on him (http://bridge-carson.livejournal.com/48879.html?thread=1204207#t1204207), Anders had gone down to the Arms and checked in at the front desk to find out that yes, in fact, Phoebe had booked a room here.

He looked more than a little bit panicky -- okay, and mad -- as he knocked on the door.

Phoebe was curled up in the middle of the really big bed when she heard the knock... and this time let her empathy tell her who was there.

She went to the door and opened it to see a mad boyfriend.

He was so glad to see she was okay that he couldn't stay that mad for long, honestly. Instead, Anders stepped into the room and immediately pulled Phoebe into a rough hug, but she would probably notice that he was shaking just a little bit.

Phoebe held onto him. "Hey," she said softly, shutting the door. "What's wrong?"

Bel had left the room to go chain smoke outside for a bit after they'd checked in. Some time later he returned to the room.

That would be a Phoebe throwing herself at him and holding on.

Cole hugged her back. "Told you I wasn't going anywhere this time," he said gruffly.

She didn't say anything, just held him.

Very shortly after that he would find himself accosted by a certain boyfriend.

"You," Anders said, poking Bel in the ribs. "Took off while I was sleeping!"

"Sorry," Bel said. "Just had to go . . . take care of something."

Anders poked him again. "You guys were gone. I was worried, dumbass."

Then there was the fact that Bel hadn't been quite himself, which wasn't helping Anders's unease much . . .

He knocked lightly on the door.

Phoebe tensed, but she was getting better at not just opening it. "Who is it?"
