Phoebe and Cole's Hotel Room at The Arms

As promised, after the visit to Angelus, Phoebe had gone to The Arms to get her and Cole a room. As much as she really did adore Xander and Bridge, she didn't want to impose on Xander as his apartment was getting pretty crowded.

Cole didn't want her going out unless she was with him or Anders because he still felt that Angelus was a danger -- even if he was behind bars right now.

So, this was Phoebe, pacing her hotel room.

Phoebe hugged Prue tightly. Nothing made you feel better like a hug from your big sister.

"Wouldn't dream of it."

She pulled back and looked intently at Phoebe's face. "How are you?"

Things not to tell the big sister for $500 Alex... What is Angelus sort of threatened to have sex with me?

She swallowed, pulling Prue inside. "One of my best friends lost his soul and is terrorizing people?"

"I heard about Angel on the radio." Prue said. "Is that why you came here?"

Phoebe nodded. "I've dealt with his soulless self, Angelus, before." She ran a hand through her hair tiredly. "I was friends with Angelus... I thought we were friends. I even defended him when he was accused of something... bad." Phoebe closed her eyes. "When he got his soul, he was Angel, completely different and a good man."

"Too bad the soul didn't stick." Prue said. She didn't like the idea of Phoebe being friends with someone who could go from "good" to evil so quickly. A demon was a demon. Huh. That sounded awfully familiar.

"Something happened in a class he was helping with that caused his soul to be taken... it's been put back before, it will again."

"How do you put it back in?" she asked.

"A spell. A heavy duty spell."

"And when will said spell be performed?" she asked. "I mean, if this guy is as smart as he seems then he's going to figure out how to get out eventually."

Phoebe looked at the floor.

"What is it, Pheebs?" she asked, giving the Big Sister Look.

"The witch that we know can for sure perform the spell was put into a coma."

"Oh that's just great." Prue said. She's lucky she hadn't heard about Angelus threatening Phoebe otherwise, screw the soul spell, she'd just go down to the station and kill him herself. "Can't we do anything about it? What about the Book of Shadows?"

"We're looking into it... Angelus thinks I know how to do it and what to do."

"So if he escapes he's going to go after you first." Prue said. She paused for a second. "You're not leaving this hotel room."

Phoebe let out a breath. "That's what Cole says, too. No leaving without an escort."

"Try to not go out at night unless you really, really need to." she said.

"So much with the no on that. Safer inside. If I need to go out, I have a boyfriend and two nephews that can help."

"I don't know, I think Piper might be able to give me a run for my money." she said.
