Phoebe was in the lobby of the hotel, putting the finishing touches on a bit of furniture rearranging that she had been doing. (Everyone else who lived here would adapt to the changes, they always did.)

It was another New Year's Eve in California and she kept thinking about everything that had happened in the past year and what she wanted for the upcoming year. One of the things that she was most grateful for is that none of them had died in the past few months, so that was a thing worth celebrating. Not to mention that her eldest nephew was happily married now.

So, it was probably no surprise that after Phoebe flopped down on one of the sofas near the big screen TV that she was thinking about her own future.

sensethevisions: (Dark Witch : Charmingdesigns)
It wasn't that Phoebe was a terrible cook. It was just that usually people knew better than to let her try to make anything that she hadn't made many times before and ironed all of the kinks out of it.

However, Phoebe had gotten the idea that she should make her boys something nice and chocolatey since she hadn't been around to spend much time with them lately. Between school and work, she didn't have a lot of free time and she missed them.

This would be why there were the following things in the kitchen:

A TV tuned in to some kind of dessert program.

An irritated witch.

Chocolate batter on said witch and about everything else within her vicinity.

Even with all of this, she was still trying to be very determined to make Death By Chocolate.

This could only end well, right?

sensethevisions: (Serious : Absolutesnark)
Phoebe had no idea where all of this luggage and bags in their room had come from.

She also really didn't like the fact that they all had labels that had something to do with her thoughts and feelings on certain subjects.

There was a pile of bags that stated very clearly DEAD MOTHER, and she really wasn't happy with all of the ones that were marked with ABANDONED BY FATHER. She had been trying valiantly to shove them into the closets, but they kept falling back out. She tried to make them disappear with a spell, but that just caused a duffel bag with NO PERSONAL GAIN to drop down on her head from somewhere.

When she looked up to yell at the Elders about messing with her again, she yelped and ducked to the side as several pieces of luggage with NO ACTIVE POWERS and ADEQUACY ISSUES tags rained down from somewhere. Just when she thought she was going to scream from frustration from all of this, a steamer trunk with the label FEARS TURNING EVIL showed up, forcing her to move back.

When she turned and tripped over the messenger bags labelled HALLIWELL CURSE and WILL DIE YOUNG, she was pretty sure she had had more than enough of this nonsense.

She carefully picked her way around the baggage and headed for the door. However, opening the door to a mini avalanche of RELATIONSHIP ISSUES made her decide that finding a bottle or two of alcohol would be a very good plan.

[[OOC: OPEN!]]
sensethevisions: (WeePhoebe Adorable)
Phoebe had decided that after a day playing tag and hide and seek -- with who, only Phoebe could say -- it was time for food.

And something to drink, too.

That would be why she was sitting on the floor of the kitcken drinking from a can of soda while she looked at all of the things she had pulled out of the refrigerator and cabinets. As she drank her soda she was trying to figure out how to make all of this stuff into dinner of some kind. After all, Grams did it all of the time and Phoebe watched her a lot. Therefore Phoebe should know how to do it too, right?

Well, to four year old Phoebe, this logic made a lot of sense.

After finishing her soda, she opened another one and started putting the ingredients in piles by color.

She'd figure out how to make dinner eventually. Right?

sensethevisions: (On The Phone)
Phoebe hadn't told anybody about the job interview she had gone to a few weeks ago. Nor had she told anyone that she had gone in for a follow-up interview last week. She had also made sure not to leave out any of the paperwork she had been working on for said job opportunity. She didn't want to get her hopes up -- okay, too much, as this was Phoebe -- and she didn't want anyone to know what she had been doing with her time when she wasn't at school or following one of her visions.

However...

A few minutes ago, her cell phone had woken her up from a peaceful sleep, and she had left the bedroom to go into the main room of the suite to talk to Elise Rothman. After all, she hadn't wanted to wake up the boys.

The conversation ended up being longer than expected, so she had wandered from their rooms and to one of the common rooms.

The joyful whoop that she let out when she hung up the phone could probably be heard by most of the people in residence. She may have been a little too excited to realize that the shout wasn't just her inside voice.

[OOC: Open to anyone at the Hyperion who may have heard her excitement, or whom might be just wandering around anyway.]
sensethevisions: (Default)
It was the day after Christmas and instead of sleeping in with her favorite two men in the world, Seraphim and Valkyrie had decided that she needed to get up and spend time with them.

After feeding them both, she played with the new Wii Fit for a little bit and then curled up on the couch -- where the two demanding cats then took over her lap for attention. This gave her time to think about how much she had enjoyed this Christmas spent with those she loved the most.

Her laptop was on the table in front of her as was her phone.

[[OOC: For the boys, or anyone else that lives in the Hyperion and for e-mails or phone calls, too.]]

Phoebe had been going through numerous newspapers as part of her new research project. It wasn't so much an assignment as something that she was weighing her interest in. Newspapers were all over the couch and table. She had been at this all day, and now she was feeling restless and twitchy.

Getting up from the couch, she went to the bedroom to change clothes into something a little less warm. Maybe she'd take a quick shower.

[[OOC: Open for the boy. Will get NWS in the comments.]]
sensethevisions: (Phoebe Is a Guy)
When Phoebe woke up, she slid out of the bed without waking the guys and went immediately to the bathroom. She shut the door and turned on the lights... and shrieked.

That was NOT her face looking back at her from the mirror.

Freaking out, she locked the bathroom door and leaned against it for a moment. While the face she was wearing was pretty hot, it was not her face and she couldn't let Anders or Cole see her like this.

That was when she looked down and gasped. That was... wow.

Shaking her head, she stepped into the bathtub and pulled the shower curtain all of the way closed. She slid down the wall and covered her face with her hands.

She could hide in here until it passed... right?
