South Attic -- Hysterics
Apr. 6th, 2006 06:07 pmAfter what happened in Sociology class. Phoebe ran up to her dorm and slammed the door behind her. She had tears in her eyes and she was fighting to see past them.
They had taken him... they had taken Cole.
Phoebe threw their books down and paced the main room.
She had to do something! Cole was innocent. He never would have attacked anyone and especially not now! He was good, damn it!
She went to her phone and dialed.
She called Piper first. Then Lana. Then Kiki.
She needed calmer heads than hers right now.

This all has to be a big misunderstanding, I'm sure -" Or a plot by someone who wants to get Bel - or Phoebe? - badly "- We just need to think through this. Where is Bel now? And why was he arrested?"

Mr. Crowley might delight in livening the town up with a little misdirected phone service or a wicked bit of song and dance - literally - but this wasn't his style. He didn't go for brutal violence; it lacked depth, finesse, style - it wasn't flash.
But the biggest question still lingered in her mind. Phoebe was right: Why couldn't Bel get a break?
"A demon attacks Allie," Kiki reasoned slowly. "Why? For being friends with Bel? Friends with a demon?" Kiki raised her gaze slowly to meet Phoebe's eyes. "Just like you are. Just like I am. Just like the two other girls at this school who have been attacked at this school not so very long ago. Phoebe, what if we've been looking at this the wrong way? We thought we were attacked because we were witches - what if... what if that wasn't the true reason? We only know our attacks were connected - but we never figured out why, we just assumed!"
