It had gotten dark before she realized and she finally decided that she should go home before it got too much later.
She let herself into the rooms, and went right into the main bedroom. She sat down on the floor beneath the window on the other side of the bed and drew her knees up to her chin. She buried her face in her knees and just sat there.
