518/520, Late Afternoon Into Evening

After her afternoon visit to Umbridge's office, Phoebe stalked to the rooms and slammed the door open. She was so angry that she was shaking, but the fact that she could talk or make any noise at all had her frustrated to the point of tears. She snatched one of her notebooks and a marker and scribbled something on it before holding it up to the guys.

She can't break me!

"Maybe she's got them under a spell too," growled Anders. "I sure as hell wouldn't put it past her."

"Then we wait 'til Phoebe's sleeping and go kill her?" Bel said hopefully.

"I love the way you think," Anders declared. "Still wish we could've done something earlier, but Phoebe got pretty mad about the idea."

Bel glanced over at Phoebe. "She won't be happy with us."

Anders heaved a sigh, wrinkling his nose. "Dammit. Is fireballing the principal worth her being mad at us?"

"She'll forgive us?" Bel said hopefully.

"But she might make us sleep on the couch for like a week," Anders replied. "I guess it'd be worth it, though."

"I think I can survive a week," Bel mused.

Anders snorted. "Not if you have to share the couch with me. Or would you just make me sleep on the floor?"

"Do I look that mean?" Bel said innocently.

"You are a man who likes your comfort," Anders retorted, half playfully. "You'd totally kick me off the couch if you wanted room to stretch out."

"Maaaaaaaaaybe," Bel admitted. "But I'd give you cushions."

"Oh, thanks." Anders blew a kiss at him, teasingly. "Such a loving boyfriend you are. Hell, sleeping on cushions on the floor would be worth it to get some paybacks for what she did to Phoebe."
