518/520, Late Afternoon Into Evening

After her afternoon visit to Umbridge's office, Phoebe stalked to the rooms and slammed the door open. She was so angry that she was shaking, but the fact that she could talk or make any noise at all had her frustrated to the point of tears. She snatched one of her notebooks and a marker and scribbled something on it before holding it up to the guys.

She can't break me!

"She took your voice away," he insisted. "Just because you pissed her off. That counts as hurting you in my book."

She pointed to herself and smiled at him, then shook her head.

Anders just hugged her again, tightly. "I still think she's got no right to frak with you. You're ours."

"And I don't care what she thinks," Anders added, pulling her close again, "you looked damn frakking hot kissing all those girls."

Phoebe grinned and then nodded, grinning some more.

"You look so pleased with yourself. It's adorable." Anders laughed and stroked her hair. "Gods, I hope this thing wears off soon . . ."
