Phoebe had slipped from the bed early because of a headache. Even though she didn't have any classes today, she was making tea and trying to do some thinking.
First of all, her premonition from yesterday was still weighing on her and she needed to try and figure out what it meant. She didn't like having images shot into her mind and then being clueless about their point or their meaning.
She sipped her tea as she stood staring out the window.
Of course, she could probably concentrate on that better if she wasn't worried about Cole. His words last week about not having an identity out in the world had been running through her mind and she had finally decided that there were a few things she could do to help him with that. After all, one of her best friends was Veronica Mars and she could probably help remedy that problem. Parker could probably help with that, too. She was going to give Veronica a call later and tell her about Cole's concerns -- and her own worries.
However, since he had missed all of his classes for a month due to being dead, he was worried that he was going to flunk out and have to repeat his senior year. There had to be something the school could do to help him. There had to be. She had been thinking about talking to Aziraphale and James and seeing what advice they had -- and then go talk to Zoe.
With a frown, she shook her head and set her tea down. The headache was letting up a little and she decided that she wanted to be back in bed with much snuggling. She turned towards the bedroom and took a step forward, and heard that all too familiar sound.
...fear... anxiety... cruelty in hurting... satisfaction... a shocked face staring back... he knows... As Phoebe fought to shake herself free of the images her premonition was showing her, the scene changed. He was taking something... something that was needed very badly... its loss would cause panic and discomfort... he was leaving with it, quite pleased with himself...
Phoebe let out a slight sound as she leaned against the wall. Was it the same shadowy figure she had seen in her premonition yesterday? Who was the person he was threatening? Who was he stealing from? Who was he and who were his victims?
"Why can't I see their faces?" She whispered, rubbing her forehead. "I nedd to help them... but against who?"
