sensethevisionsAfter certain events of the previous day, Phoebe hadn't gotten much sleep. Which would explain why she had fallen asleep on the couch.
It was too warm in here and there were too many people talking to her all at once. No, not talking. Yelling. They were yelling at her. Yelling horrible things. They were callling her a witch and other things. Rough hands grabbed her and pulled her from where she had been watching all of this. When she saw the pyre they were dragging her to, she started struggling in earnest. More hands joined in and all too soon they had her tied to the stake. "Mercy!" she begged. "Mercy!" The crowd laughed at her and when she felt the heat of the flames, she started screaming.
Phoebe came awake when she fell off the couch and onto the floor. She sat huddled there, frightened and in tears, trying to make the nightmare fade away. She had never had a dream like that before, so she could only guess that it had to be a memory from the witch who had possessed her. Not only did she get to deal with the aftermath of everything the evil witch had destroyed or broken, she got to relive her death by burning in amazing detail.
