518/520, Way Early Friday Morning

When Phoebe opened her eyes, she had no desire to leave her bed. She was tired from the emotional outbursts of the last few days and her worry for Cole. She was still detremined to protect and save him for Raynor... and though she had promised Aziraphale that she wouldn't go alone to the Underworld, she was thinking about how to get someone to go with her so she could try to free Cole's father's soul. If they cold get the soul away from Raynorbastard, then they would be able to help Cole deal with his demon without him having the pull of the Underworld.

It made sense in her head, it did.

And she wanted to help Cole so she wouldn't be forced to stop Cole.

Speaking of Cole...

She snuggled closer to him, really having no intention at all of getting up any time soon. The real world could go away so the two of them could just stay wrapped up like this together. She could happily stay right here for the forseeable future.

Cole had no intention of going anywhere anytime soon, either. And he hadn't heard anything from the Underworld in a few days. Maybe they'd forgotten about him. He clung to that hope as much as he clung to Phoebe.

Phoebe clung back to Cole, wanting to stay right here in this bed in this room.

"Hi, sweetheart," he murmured, kissing her forehead.

Phoebe smiled. "Morning, love," she said softly.

"How are you doing?" he asked.

"I'm fine," she nodded against him. "How are you?"

"I'm okay," he said. For now at least.

"Can we just stay here all day?"

[demonbelthazor]

"What would Aziraphale say?" Cole chuckled.

"Since he knows what we've been going through, I think he would probably understand that."

"Too bad we already signed into class. True," Cole sleepily agreed.

Oops? Phoebe nodded. "But then we have the weekend where we can just have down time and no tragedies or stress."

"Hopefully it will be nice and quiet," Cole agreed, blissfully unaware of any impending Fandom Doom.

Phoebe nuzzled him. "Yes, peaceful and quiet where we can spend the entire weekend just relaxing and perhaps hiding out together with no interruptions."

Especially from the Underworld, Cole thought but didn't voice. "Sounds like a plan to me," he said aloud.

Phoebe smiled at him. "I love you."

"Love you, too, sweetheart," he murmured, snuggling closer.

Phoebe was in a moment of happiness and she had no intent on giving that up, so she snuggled closer.
