Phoebe had spent the night with Lana, deciding that she should give Cole his space after what had happened yesterday. She had told both Lana and Blair that she had slapped him, and both of them seemed incredibly worried that she had lost her temper enough to slap Cole of all people. She had also told James, and he suggested that she not let this sit between her and Cole for too long or things would only get worse.

She wasn't even sure he'd want to talk to her or even if she should try right now. She had done her best to be invisible during Aziraphale's lab this morning and had instead focused on the project she and Nadia were going to be working on.

However, after Constant Vigilance, she found herself in their suite packing for her trip home for the weekend...there was some moping and some tears in there, too. She must have set the record for non-participation in a class as she just could not bring herself to take part in dating techniques when things were so bad in her personal life.

Everytime she heard a sound in the hall, she looked up to see if he was opening the door, but it was never him.

She stood in the middle of the bedroom, staring down at where her bag was. She really should pack. Really. She also needed to call Paige since it looked like she would need a lift from her sister after all.

Was she really going to have to leave for the weekend without speaking to him?

"And you're the only one I want," Cole said.

"That's important for me to know," she said softly.

"I thought you knew that," he said, confused.

"Am I going to get yelled at again if I tell you why I wasn't sure of that?"

"No?" Cole said.

Phoebe bit her lip and looked at the ground.

"Kissing you is special... what's between us is special and I get real protective of that." She swallowed. "When you kissed other people... it made me feel less special to you."

"But the others didn't mean anything," Cole said. "Not like you do."

"I understand that, but sweetheart, it still hurt."

"So that's why you wanted to hurt me."

Phoebe flinched and her eyes dropped down to the floor.

"I didn't want to hurt you," she whispered. "I would never set out to hurt you, Cole. No matter how hurt or angry I am. I didn't think through what I was saying."

"I don't wanna hurt you either, Phoebe," he said.

"I know you don't."

"So what now?"

"You're mine and I love you. Most everything else comes after that."

"We okay?" Cole asked, squeezing her hand.

"We are," she nodded. "What we have is too important to be destroyed over something so small," she said softly.

Cole nodded in agreement and kissed her.

Phoebe let out a sigh of relief and then kissed him back, tightening her arms around him. "My Demon," she murmured before giving him another kiss.

"My Witch," he said softly, holding her close.

Phoebe curled into him. "I love you."

"I love you, too," he said, kissing her again. After a moment he asked, "When do you need me to shimmer you home? I have detention tomorrow."

"I told Piper I wouldn't be leaving here until the last class of the day." She frowned. "Detention?"

"Yeah," he said. "Winchester said something that made me go demony and he gave me detention 'cause I got pissy about it."

"Why did he do that?"
