Phoebe's head is still bothering her and that makes her think that maybe the damn invasion isn't over. While there is a lull in the action, she tries to make a few phone calls. She knows that Jayne is probably in the midst of the fighting, so she doesn't call him. She doesn't want to distract him and get him hurt. She prays that he's okay.

She calls up her phone and dials Krycek's number. She needs to make sure her partner is okay and get him to bring her something to drink.

Answering after only one ring, he sounds rather annoyed. "Yeah?" He's fully expecting to be yelled at, given that he's been hiding out this whole time.

"Well don't you sound cheerfully snippy," Phoebe responds with a grin. "Having fun yet?"

"Loads," Krycek replies dryly. "We're at Jake's place - the Echoll's house? Where'd you hole up?"

"Weapons locker."

"Great, I'll see if we can get over there. Anything you need or are you stocked up?" He sounds a bit less annoyed at the prospect of movement.

"Something to drink would be nice...but not Jake's coffee." She smiles ino the phone. "Are you armed? If not, you be damned careful out there, Alex."

"He's drinking instant, but it tastes like ash in a cup. I'll see what I can pick up." Grinning audibly, he continues. "Thanks. We'll find something to bash heads with. I'd rather have a gun, but that's why we're headed your way. Wish us luck." He hangs up, then goes to gather Jake.

*Paige pokes her head in, she's carrying a baseball bat and is wearing a chainmail skirt over her jeans and a top covered with metal plates*

*She hands a bag to Phoebe containing similar things to what she's got on* Better safe than sorry right? There's stuff in there for Piper too. Just don't ask why I have it ok?

Phoebe grins at her sister. "I've liked your style since I met you, now even more so." She lays down her gun and pulls out a set of the chain mail and the plate mail. She hands the other set to Piper and picks her gun back up. She looks down at her outfit and grins again. "If only he could see me now."

*Paige grins back* So what now then? I got a few people to stay in the dorms, but I'm guessing the people in town aren't doing too good

Piper wakes up, only sleeping for about an hour. She first glances at Phoebe. "Are the zombies gone?"

She then turns her attention to Paige, relieved to see her. "It's very good to see you."
