Thursday Morning -- Selkie Cove

Thursday morning once again found Phoebe back at Selkie Cove. She had gathered quite the nice pile of shells and other things and placed them on the beach. Archie and Veronica had come to see her last night... as had Walter and Pippi and then much later, Lana.

It was hot again, today, but she wasn't really feeling too much as she was spending a lot of time in the water and diving down deep to the ocean floor. She'd come back up and then turn and dive down under the waves again. Somehow, she failed to notice that she kept winding up further and further out to the sea and further away from the island. The pull of the ocean was getting stronger and stronger and she was finding it that much harder to resist its pull.

She's still around to be called.

Phoebe dove under the water and then came back up, holding what looked like a necklace made of tiny seashells.

Piper forced a smile so she wouldn't start crying. She'd figure something out to save her sister. She had to.

Phoege smiled at her when she gave her the necklace. "Do you want to swim more or go back?"

Piper took the necklace from Phoebe. "Thank you."

She looked toward land. "I should get back."

Phoebe nodded. "Okay."

Phoebe swam beside Piper as she guided them back to the shore. "Will you come back?"

"I might," Piper said, though she wasn't sure. She feared her sister would swim away forever and didn't actually want to watch that happen.

Phoebe nodded as she swam with Piper to the tide line.

"It was good having you swimming with me."

[absolutesnark]

Piper got out of the water and put her clothes back on over her swimsuit. "I'll try to figure something out, okay. I won't give up."

Then she turned to leave, heading toward the dorms.

Phoebe watched Piper walk away, trying to understand the pain she was having her chest.

"Okay," she said softly backing into the water.
