Wednesday Morning -- Galactica Point

Phoebe had swam around the island from Selkie Cove sometime during the night while she had been focused on her surroundings. She had met many different types of ocean creatures and had seen a lot of pretty shells and things off the coast of the island. Upon swimming further out, she had come across what looked to be an old shipwreck and had plans to explore that sometime later.

Currently, though, she had swam to Galactica Point and made herself comfortable on the rocks as she watched the sun start to warm everything on the island and in the water.

This was nice.

After photography, Angela walked down to the beach, just to see the water. She saw Phoebe from behind, not noticing the tail at first. "Hey, Phoebe. How's it going?"

Phoebe looked up and smiled when she saw Angela. Of course, her tail flapped a little at that moment.

"Hey Angela. I seem to have... uhmm... a tail?"

"That's kind of new," Angela said, frowning a little. "So are you okay? I mean, it's a temporary Fandom thing, right?"

Phoebe smiled at her friend. "Well, I tried to cast a spell last night to change me back, but it didn't seem to work. Thus, still a mermaid." She nodded. "I'm okay, I mean, I feel okay. It's just strange to have had legs and now I have a tail... but the world underwater is fascinating."

Angela frowned more. "That's bad, that the spell didn't work," ANgela said. "Did Piper try? Though it would be kind of cool to get to explore the ocean like that."

Walter had decided to take a walk down by the beach before going to his morning workshop. He'd also heard something quite peculiar on the radio the night before.

Which appeared to be true.

"Phoebe?"

Phoebe looked up and smiled brightly at Walter. "Hi Walter. How are you?"

Walter smiled back, since she didn't seem upset by her circumstances. "I'm well, but curious. How is it that you're a mermaid?"

"I did a spell to find out what secrets were being kept from me and somehow wound up as Sushi."

"You won't have to stay like this will you?" Walter asked. "You seem to be okay, but I can't see Bel sitting still for it unless you chose this."

Nadia had snuck right out of her sneakiness class during a lecture on camouflage, and went in search of MerPhoebe.

Because, even when one was mer, swimming out to sea still was not quite the Best. Idea. Ever.

"Phoebe?"

Phoebe recognized the voice calling her name and rose up through the waves.

"Nadia!!"

Nadia walked up to the edge of the water, already sweating in the sun. "I heard you're a mermaid now?"

Phoebe nodded. "Only in Fandom, I guess." She was bouncing in the water.

Nadia nodded. "You okay?"

Piper really had to do something about the spell her sister cast, so she stopped by Selkie Cove looking for her. When she didn't find her there, she tried Galactica Point.

"Hey Pheebs," she said calmly even though seeing her sister as a mermaid was somewhat of a shock.

Phoebe rolled with the surf and waved happily to her sister, coming closewr to the shore.

"Hi Piper."

"Are you okay, I mean, besides being a mermaid?" Piper shook her head. Only in Fandom would she ask a question like that.

Phoebe beamed and bobbed in the water.

"I'm more than okay, Piper, I'm great. I love the ocean."

Piper gave her a small smile. "I'm glad you're having a good time, but don't you think it's time we fix this? You can't stay in there forever."

Barbossa was walking along the beach.

As pirates do.

He was singing a rude song.

As pirates do.

About mermaids.

Because sometimes, Barbossa loves this town.

Phoebe heard singing so she came close to the shore so she could hear more. When she saw who was singing, she beamed.

"Hi Barbossa!"

"'lo, flippered wench!" Barbossa called back. "Ye be gettin' anyone t' follow ye t' the bottom 'n drown yet today?"

Phoebe laughed in delight and shook her head. "Is there someone you'd like to volunteer for that?"

Because, hey, she liked Barbossa and his ideas.
