When Phoebe woke up on Tuesday morning, she whimpered faintly.

Her head really was hurting her and her stomach was nauseous. She tried to bury her head deeper under her pillow and closer to Cole, but any movement she made brought tears to her eyes and sent new pain flaring through her head.

Migraine.

And it wasn't even from her empathy or doing magic or anything like that. This seemed to be a regular, normal migraine headache.

She thought about rolling over and seeing if she could stand up and then make a trip to the dorms to dig out her migraine meds, but the movement made new tears fill her eyes.

Okay, there were worse places to die than being in bed, burying your head under the pillow and your boyfriend's shoulder.

Yep, much worse places to die.

Cole heard Phoebe groan. "Sweetheart, what's wrong?" he said, lifting his head from the pillow.

Phoebe didn't respond right away. She just whimpered and tried using her face to burrow a hole in the bed.

"Head."

"Hurts?" Cole said, kissing the top of her head.

Phoebe lifted her tear-filled eyes to him slowly. "Hurts bad," she confirmed.

"Want me to take you to the clinic?" Cole asked, immediately concerned.

Phoebe started to shake her head, but pain flared throughout it.

"Migraine," she whimpered when the flare passed. "I left my meds in our bedroom. Didn't think I'd need them."

"Let me go get them then," Cole said, climbing from the bed.

Phoebe nodded slightly and curled up in a ball in the bed. He'd help fix this.

Cole returned after a few moments with a glass of water and her pills. "Here, sweetheart," he said, helping her sit up.

Phoebe leaned against Cole as she swallowed the pills. "Thank you, love," she said softly.
