[Locked to Piper] Sister Time

Phoebe was sitting in her room working on her homework. She was trying to anyway. Her mind kept wandering over the last few days and then the events of today.

The ability to sense what Cole had been feeling had shaken her to the core and so had his behaviour when she had finally found him. She was worried about him, but he wouldn't tell her what was wrong yet.

Then there was Maia. Maia seemed to be very worried about her, and convinced that she and her sisters were going to be hunted down and killed. Then Maia had told her that she would be the next one to die...and that it would be Cole who would do it.

She got up from her desk and started pacing the room.

She really hoped Piper got there soon.

Piper gently knocks on Phoebe's door. "Pheebs, are you there?"

Phoebe moves to the door and opens it.

"Come on in Piper."

She lets her sister in and shuts the door behind her. "How are you doing?"

Piper wandered into Phoebe's room, finding a place to sit.

"I'm... dealing. How about you?"

"Pretending to deal. Mostly hiding."

Piper nodded, understanding. "I get the hiding thing. I'm skipping one of my classes right now because... Paige is there. I've been sort of avoiding her."

Phoebe frowned a little. "It's not Paige's fault we were lied to, Piper."

Piper sighed. "I know it's not. I'm just not sure what to say to her, you know?"

"She came to ssee me, today. She wanted to make sure I was okay."

[absolutesnark]

"She did?" Piper smiled. "She does seem to care."

[sensethevisions]

"She does. She also wanted to tell me her reasons for leaving with Maia insstead of speaking up."

"Oh? What did she say?"

Phoebe sighed. "There was no telling what Maia would have done if she hadn't gone with her."

Piper nodded. "Then it seems Paige did the right thing. And I'm going to do the right thing and talk to Paige tomorrow."

Phoebe smiled. "That will be a good thing, Piper. She really has been pretty lonely."

"I didn't realize she was so lonely. I guess that makes sense, though. I'll definitely talk to her then."

"Thanks, Piper."

Piper smiled at her sister. "I'm glad we were able to talk about this. I feel like you're the only person I can trust right now."

Phoebe smiled back. "I feel the same way." She ran a hand through her hair. "Did Belthazor tell you what happened yesterday?"

Piper nodded. "Yeah, and he let me know you were okay. I was worried."

"I don't think I can ever go back into Study Hall again."

[absolutesnark]

Piper smiled sympathetically. "I really don't blame you for that."

"Piper...what do you think of Maia? Did Belthazor tell you the things she's been telling me and what she said to me yesterday after coming unglued on me?"

[absolutesnark]

"I'm not sure what to think of her. But when I hear that she started yelling at you in study hall for no reason, I don't trust her. What did she say to you yesterday?"

Phoebe sighs. "She doesn't want me talking to Belthazor at all. She says he's going to kill me. When she saw us talking, she called me a liar and a bitch. She was just screaming at me and when he said something in my defense, she turned on him."

Piper blinked in confusion. "Huh? I don't believe her. Those things she said about you are so far from the truth. She doesn't know you well at all."

"Yeah. It was pretty hurtful and brutal. Belthazor witnessed the entire thing and came after me. He told me to stay away from her that she's trying to manipulate me and you, too."

"Yeah, he told me that, too."

[sensethevisions]

"I don't understand why anyone here would want to manipulate us? Maia also said that you and I shouldn't tell anyone what we can do because it could be dangerous."

Phoebe shook her head. "Honestly, Piper. I think I'd go insane if I didn't have you here. You're the one person I know without a doubt that I can trust."

"I don't know why anyone would want to manipulate us either. Maybe we should keep these witchy powers to ourselves? I have a feeling a lot of people here, the ones who seem kinda evil, would take advantage of us..."

Piper hugs Phoebe. "I know. I'm so glad you're here. I think we're going to need each other."

Phoebe nodded and hugs her sister. "I think we are, too."
