She had told Kiki that she would find a way to get ahold of Crowley's schedule for the next few weeks, and that was what she intended to do.
So, after she and Kiki were released from their late night Independent Study meeting with their new teacher, Phoebe made her way to The Arms. Smiling at MaryAnn and chatting her up for a bit, Phoebe discovered that Crowley was out at the moment.
This was her chance.
She waited until MaryAnn was working on something else before she slipped into Crowley's office.
She made her way to his desk and started glancing at the items laid out there. When she didn't see an obvious calendar, she started snooping through his desk. She might have felt guilty about invading his privacy, except for the fact that he had dressed her and Kiki in black satin nighties and Cole had found her like that.
She finally found what she was looking for and carefully copied a few items into her notebook. She placed the book back where she had found it and then straightened up his office. There were no traces of her being there at all. She was starting to leave his office when she heard Crowley's voice.
She muttered a silent curse and ducked back into his office, leaving his door open a crack so she could see when the coast was clear...
...and that's when she got the shock of her life.
Crowley and Paige?!
Her eyes narrowed as she watched them move to the elevators, their hands all over one another. Crowley, she expected things like this from, but Paige?!
Her sister knew about the contract, knew she was supposed to marry the demon. It didn't matter that she didn't want to marry Crowley, Paige still should have respect that for the moment he was technically her fiance. No matter the circumstances of the engagement, you still didn't seduce your sister's intended. It didn't matter that your sister didn't want to marry someone, you still didn't sleep with your sister's fiance!
There were many things she could forgive her younger sister for. This? So wasn't one of them --- both for the poaching and for being stupid enough to get into this entanglement in the first place. Had she learned nothing about things like this in all of the time that she had been here --- or been around Piper, for that matter? She couldn't really say much about her own judgement, but at she had gotten involved with Crowley in an attempt to protect her soulmate. Had her younger sister learned nothing from the situation Phoebe had found herself in with the Flash Bastard? yes, Phoebe hadn't thought things through when she did what she did, but she would have expected that Paige would have learned from her glaringly public mistakes.
The smile that she gave wasn't pleasant as plans started formulating in her mind.
She was pretty sure she just found a way out of at least the wedding part of the contract.
As the elevator doors closed behind Paige and Crowley, Phoebe watched the elevator, letting it go up a few floors before she left his office and then the hotel. Her mind was whirling with plans and ideas as she returned home.
