South Attic - Monday Morning - NFB (Locked to
demonbelthazor)
Feb. 20th, 2006 08:06 amAfter staying in her Suite at the Arms all weekend and thinking, Phoebe had decided that she had to try again to show Cole how much of a bad idea it would be to bring back Angelus. She had had such a good time with him at the dance and she meant it when she had told him that she really missed the day to day of the two of them just being them. She hated that they couldn't be together and it was eating at her. On the other hand, she knew she had to stay strong, she had to stick by her decision not to be with him again until he stopped trying to bring Angelus back. There was too much at stake.
Since there was no school on Monday, she had left the Arms that morning and had made her way slowly to the Dorms... and then to the South Attic.
She sat with the kittens for a bit, just holding them and hiding her tears in their fur. Seraphim and Valkyrie did their best to comfort her and she got the idea that they knew more than she was telling. Seraphim did chastize her for searching Cole's things the last time she had been there. She already felt like she had betrayed Cole by doing it, so a guilt trip from anangelic demonic Oprahesque set of kittens was only making her feel worse.
After awhile, Phoebe kicked off her shoes and made her way to Cole's bedroom. She closed the door behind her and leaned against it, just watching him sleep. She nervously played with a rolled up piece of paper in her hand as she watched him.
A tear slipped down her cheek as she dropped her bag silently on the floor next to Cole's desk, and dropped the paper she had been playing with on top of her bag.
She sat on the edge of the bed and stroked his hair gently.
