She had made sure Lana and Kiki were sleeping comfortably and had tried to sleep, but every time she closed her eyes...she saw that scene in the park.
Cole had been ready to kill her.
The shock and the horror of all of that was still very fresh in her mind.
Not wanting to disturb Crowley, Phoebe slipped from the bed and went to sit on the floor in front of the fireplace.
She could still feel Cole's grip on her shoulders and the look in his eyes as he told her she could either be with him or he could kill her. She wrapped her arms around her knees as she started to shake.
He was going to kill her.
Of everything that had happened during the day of singing, that was the one thing that she hadn't expected...or knew how to deal with. In all of the time she had known him, she had never been scared of Cole.
She was now.
He was going to kill her.
If Crowley hadn't shown up when he did...she'd be dead now.
Phoebe's eyes kept looking wildly around her as she expected Cole to shimmer in at anytime to finish what he had started.
She was back to being scared again. She had been scared after the demon attack, but it hadn't been like this. Cole knew so much about her, knew everything about her. He could get to her anywhere she was.
She wouldn't be safe. She would never be safe again.
Cole wanted her dead and he was going to kill her.
