Phoebe tried re-playing the message several times. She recognized Camulus saying he needed her, but that was all. Worried, she called him back.

"Sir, it's Phoebe? I didn't hear all of your message. Where are you?"

"Phoebe, my dear, this is Aziraphale. I found the note you left, and I'd very much like to see you. I'm...James and I are both a bit unwell right now, but if you would like to stop by today or later this week, you'd be very welcome."

"Mr. Aziraphale...get rest and when you're ready for visitors, just let me know."

Phoebe was worried about her friends and pushed the hell her life had become to the back of her mind.

At some point in the very early morning, the following voicemail appears on your phone. It's your choice as to when you actually retrieve the message.

"My dear, this is Aziraphale. I...am afraid I've just discovered that I'll be leaving town. Quite immediately in fact. By Friday night. I didn't want to go without saying how very much your friendship has meant to me, and how terribly I'm going to miss you."

"Do take good care of yourself, and be well. Perhaps someday we'll meet again."

Phoebe is stunned when she gets the message in the morning.

"No...oh no..."

She grabs a jacket and runs out to the book shoppe.

Lana's Birthday Party

"Hey Pheebs it's Mai. Listen I wanted us all to get together for Lana's birthday maybe this weekend. It's her 18th. I don't know if she'd want something really big so I thought maybe something small, a few friends. Maybe go out to Caritas afterwards. Let me know what you think. Love you."

Phoebe listened to the message several times, making sure that it was Veronica on the other end. When she was satisfied, she called her back.

"V? What do you mean you don't think it was his fault?"

I hope you don’t mind the call but tomorrow, the 31st is Aziraphale’s birthday and I’m trying to organize a little something for him. Well, okay technically he doesn’t have a birthday, I know but this is sort of the day he picked as his birthday and I wanted to give him a surprise on it.

I know we’re all scattered with the holiday and midterm break and well, you know how he is, he’s not one for material items or a personal party so I thought up something he’ll really cherish and enjoy and I need your help.

If you’re up for it, could you give his voicemail (http://a-phale.livejournal.com/61752.html?replyto=1540152) a call tomorrow (or at midnight if you like) and just, leave him a birthday greeting, well wishes or…really anything you might like to say to him. He’ll so appreciate hearing from you and it will really help to make the day special.

Phoebe wondered how he had known that she was having a bad day like she was. She smiled at the cookies and made plans to go see him soon.

Sometime on Thursday, a package appeared outside the door to Phoebe's dorm room. It was wrapped in gold paper, and tied with a red and gold bow.

Phoebe held onto the vase of flowers as she read the note from her big brother and for the second time today felt her eyes well with tears. It sounded like he really might be able to forgive her for her behavior on Sunday.

He was right, they did need to talk.

Wiping her eyes, she put the flowers on her desk and made a note in her notebook to call him tomorrow.
