sensethevisionsOf all of the demons that she vanquished, Phoebe really hated the ones that exploded into slimy goo the worst.
As soon as she arrived home, she was peeling off clothing even as she headed to the nice, large shower. If she was careful and hurried, she would get cleaned up and dressed before Cole got off work and even had an idea of what she had been up to.
What he didn't know wouldn't freak him out. Especially since he had been in court all day and there would have been no way for him to get to her to help.
It took the better part of an hour to erase all traces of demon goo guts from her body and most especially her hair. Why was it always the hair?!
Once she was as clean as she could get, she got dressed in comfortable yoga pants and a large t-shirt before heading to the kitchen to make a large pot of coffee.
Coffee could fix everything...
...except for the sudden reminder that even though Cole had been in court and didn't know what happened, he would have felt everything she felt since they had that soul bond and link.
Yeah, she was going to be in trouble.

"Coffee, then you can yell at me?" There was a soft note of pleading in her voice. "And, I didn't plan for it to happen. I really didn't."
But she had been downtown to do some research and there had been a vision and then the emotions of the people...
"I'm okay. Barely even hurt."
She would have said not even hurt to anyone but Cole. She would never lie to him like that -- and he knew that fighting caused her to bruise and he would see them later.
