California, The Hyperion, Monday Afternoon

Phoebe was having an easy day.

Currently, she was stretched out on the couch, reading a novel. She had decided to take some time off of college for awhile and so she had no summer classes to take. She was also off today from her other job, so she saw no reason not to take it easy today.

She'd probably get up at some point to get some more tea, but right now she was really engrossed in this novel -- even if the formatting was a little annoying at times.

Piper did have work today, but she didn't have to be at the restaurant for a few hours.

"Mind some company? At least until I have to leave for work?" she asked her sister. There was something she needed to talk to her about anyway.

Phoebe looked up and grinned.

"From my favorite sister? I never mind the company."

Piper took a seat on a chair near the couch. "I'm the favorite, huh? I feel special."

Phoebe laughed. "Of course you are, and you know that."

"Well, speaking of sisters..." Piper paused for a moment, smiling slightly as she thought about what she was going to tell Phoebe. "There's something I need to talk to you about."

Phoebe closed her book and gave Piper and expectant look.

"As you probably know, I haven't really made many wedding plans or anything, yet. There's still a lot of time." That would probably shock most people, considering how OCD Piper can be. She was trying to be chill about the whole thing. "Well, I just made my first decision."

She looked at Phoebe, smiling. "I'd like you to be my maid of honor."

This wasn't an easy decision. Try choosing between three sisters and Veronica. In the end, Piper knew this decision was the right one.

Phoebe started at her and then grinned, throwing her arms around Piper.

"Thank you!"

Why yes, Phoebe was very excited.

Piper grinned. "Well, I'm glad you're excited now. You may not be thanking me later."

She was joking. Mostly.

Phoebe shook her head. "That would never happen."
