The Morning After -- Suite 518/520

Phoebe opened her eyes slowly and then groaned. It was too bright and she closed her eyes again. After drinking a lot of the green stuff she had found, she had made her way up to the roof.

First, she had talked with Cole about rules and such in their relationship as it pertained to sex. She had talked with Walter about vampires and sex appeal... or something. Maybe they had talked about others wanting the sex appeal of vampires? She was fuzzy on that. Then, The Mighty God Joxer appeared and they talked before he passed out. She also celebrated with Lana. The night unfortunately had ended badly when Nadia told her Cole was sleeping with Blair.

She was pretty sure that she couldn't feel any worse. Hangovers were bad enough... but last night had been a little harsh.

Cole snuggled closer. "Morning, sweetheart," he said.

Phoebe murmured something and pulled the covers over their heads. "Bright."

"Told you not to drink it," Cole chuckled.

"It was fun at the time... and it helped later."

"What do you mean?" Cole asked.

Phoebe sighed sadly, burying her face in his chest. "I talked to Nadia."

Cole tensed. "What sort of nonsense is she filling your head with?" he growled.

Phoebe's voice was small and she didn't move from where she was hiding her face in his chest. "Lapdances with Blair... you kissing Blair..."

"He jumped in my lap as a joke!" Cole protested.

Phoebe was quiet. "That's not a lapdance..." she finally said.

"He didn't give me a lapdance!" Cole flailed.

"That's what I just said. There is a big difference between jumping in a man's lap and giving him a lapdance."

"Good," Cole said. "I'm glad that's settled then."

She pulled back and looked up into his face. Her eyes were shadowed from a bit of a hangover and worry.

"But... you did kiss him."

"Yes?" he said slowly. "But..it was just to make him blush."

"My boyfriend kissing him made him blush?"

"He was a mime, I had to pull out the big guns," Cole said, as if that explained everything.

Phoebe blinked as that didn't explain anything at all.

"So... kissing someone to make them blush is okay and makes sense to do?"

"I only did it because of the bet!" Cole protested. "I don't want to lose!"

Phoebe did a facechest onto Cole.

There may have been a groan there, too.

"...I'm sorry?" Cole said.

"Tell me that you don't feel as strongly about Blair as you do Angel?"

"I don't feel that way about Blair at all!" Cole flailed.

Phoebe nodded. "Okay."

"Okay," Cole said. He paused. "Anything else?"
