Worst Valentine's Day Ever
Feb. 14th, 2006 10:38 pmAfter dinner with Cole and the same never-ending argument as usual, Phoebe wandered aimlessly around the island. She had tears slipping down her cheeks as she walked. She had forgotten her coat when she left Cafe Fina, but she couldn't go back there right now. She could get her jacket tomorrow.
She walked down to the beach and sat on the sand for a long time, just listening to the waves breaking on the shore as she cried.
Realizing how late it was getting, Phoebe stood up and walked back into town. When she finally made it back to the hotel, she was slightly on a tunnel vision course. She was numb and she was sad... but she knew she had made the right decision.
She walked past the front desk and to the elevators. She leaned against the wall of the elevator as it travelled upwards. Once inside her suite, she placed her purse on the table, and looked around at all of the flowers that had been delivered to her. It was when she was carrying the crystal rose to the bedside table that she saw the collection of Jasmine oils and lotions and bath stuff on the table next to her bed. He had remembered.
She organized everything and then she walked over to the balcony doors. She stood there for the longest time and just stared out into the darkness.
